Hi,
I want to develop a system regarding safety belt detection. It includes a normal safety belt which has a hook. Now task is to detect whether hook is attached with wire or not. How to do that. Wire is not insulated. At a time there could be more than one person. Hook can be locked. But how to detect that hook is present on wire or not.

Thanx for reply golden, however the concept i told is not available yet. Moreover in car system is fixed but in this requirement hook will be moving along with the person on rope and at a time there could be 5-6 men working at a time. Then a display will show the status of each individual's hook, whether it is on rope and properly locked or not.

What if the person has hooked only the lock that is for example in car the person can lock the seat belt even when there is no person on the seat, even then it detects the belts are locked? Does it also have a pressure sensor below the seat to detect the presence of a person and what if some other object is placed on the seat instead of a person?

I don't think he's talking about car seat belts but more a sort of safety harness thing e.g. what construction workers may wear to catch them if they fall of scaffolding or whatever.

I require more information of ur project such as
1. What type of Hook material use ?
2. All 5/6 person use same wire for Hooking & how much distance between them
3. Now what ever sensing result but our system inform to whom means either person who is hook or any third party who observe or control system etc

1. Material is not the main issue. Because it's being used since years. Its good. Issue is person doesn't hook up on rope. He
starts working directly.
2. Yes all person on same wire. Distance may vary between them, not fixed.
3. And yes system will inform third person who observes.

How we identify person is working or not near rope area. Consider Construction site where worker start working on TOP floor say making brick work from outside direction using lift or etc where safety rope present. Now controller or Observer know person working but no one insert hook.

One way is some mechanical assembly which give u signal is hook inserted on rope or not from this further system develop.
Give practical detail so we discuss further

one way is to pass the current through the rope, detect that current which is wired to assembly present with person working and send those signals wireless using some rf module.

Current pass in closed loop circuit. If u apply voltage say 5V volt then if person hook then how path is closed for this person.

its related to safety of a person. Height at which person is working is 50meter above the ground. Person has one safety belt with him, which he has to hook up on safety rope. Its horizontal. So at one time there may be one or more person working. They don't hook up safety belt on the rope. So chances of fatal injury get increases or most of the cases person dies. So it has to be ensured that person has neatly hooked up the safety belt on the rope. So how to do that.

No, its compete assembly. Hook is already connected to belt. It can't be detached. Issue is to detect whether hook is on the rope or not.

micro switches are not feasible. They won't work in the industry.
