Hello Everyone,

I need a little advise, what would be the best means to isolate my MCU, RF module and Computer and preventing it from getting fried should there be any problems with my meter circuit. The meter circuit gets sample from the 440v mains through a voltage divider only. I did not use any potential transformer of any sort and I don't plan on using opamp with unity gain as isolation.

I haven't started any circuit yet, I just wanted to know what would be the best option to collect data from my meter circuit via SPI or i2C interface with the MCU, safely. Thank you

Isolating SPI through fast opto couplers or other data couplers is the most popular option.
