Hi,

Could someone please explain rxSetupTime, RX/TX switching time and RX-TX turnaround time?

According to paper [1],
The rxSetupTime is the time to switch the radio from IDLE to SLEEP and SLEEP to IDLE, and must be taken from the datasheet of the radio transceiver
According to the paper, rxSetupTime for CC2420 is 1792 us, though I couldn't find any reference in the CC2420 datasheet [2].
The rxSetupTime for AT86RF231 has been given as 400 us in the paper, but in the datasheet its given as 110 us [3].

Also,
"TurnaroundTime (192 us) is the time for IEEE 802.15.4 compliant radio transceivers to switch from TX/RX or RX/TX"
However, the RX/TX switching time for AT86RF231, has been given in its datasheet as 1 us [3].
