Hi all

I'm having problems with starting the OMAP5912 (ARM9) starter kit.

When I start the system, the bootloader starts properly and uncompresses the kernel, then just freezes. I get the message in braces

{
Booting image at 00100000
Image Name: Linux-2.4.20_mv131-omap5912-osk
Image Type: ARM Linux Kernel Image (Uncompressed)
Data Size : 741532 Bytes = 724.2KB
Load Addr: 10008000
Entry Point: 10008000
Verifying checksum . . . OK
OK
Starting kernel . . . .
Uncompressing Linux . . . . . . . . . . . . . done, booting the kernel
} Then it dies, the system has to be restarted.

Q's
1. why is the kernel being uncompressed while it is defined as uncompressed?
2. I reloaded the original image. It appears to load and write to the flash ok, but still dies when booting.

I am stuck. What should I do? The bootloader (u-boot ver. 1.1.1) seems to be fine.

I'ld appreciate any help. Sorry - I appear to have left the -v option on.
