I have updated and refined my rtos/multitasking kernel for the Pic 16-bit family micros.
It is very basic, but small and fast. It should provide enough functionality for a lot of programs.
It is now posted on Microchip Embedded source code pages here:
http://embeddedcodesource.com/developer/rj_components/rtos_for_pic24_pic30_and_pic33
Includes source code.
It uses Mplab and Mplab Sim so you can run the examples with no hardware.
Give it a go.
