RS232 with micro-controller interface by keil

Dear Sir,

i want to connect RS232 for programming as well as for other purpose to communicate with other devices.
i mean to say that from micro-controller RxD and Txd pins are used for programming download through sereil port but i want to use for my other device after once downloaded program.

If u have any other choice u can suggest me...
