i am doing a project in which i have to interface rs232 to fpga.
can any one tel me how to proceed......
if any diagrams and source code is available please tell me.

you can use RS232 core from the FPGA manufacture.

if you are using Xilinx FPGA then look in the CoreGen application for RS232 core

and Don't forget to add line driver/reciver

i dont know whethere the xilinx coregen cores hav to be purchased or not,
in case they have that infamous $ sign in front of them,
u can go here https://www.opencores.org/
this has some pretty good rs 232 implementations in der.. try or try modelling them..[/url]
