I have a OSRAM photodiode (SFH 2701) that responds to current.

I would like to take RS232 signals/data from my pc and send it through my photodiode.

Is there a circuit I can build to help me do this?

The rs-232 signal which is a voltage level has to be converted to current correct?

Not sure EXACTLY what you are trying to do, this device will produce a current when it detects light, not the other way around.
