Can a RFID reader having 13.56 Mhz frequency read tags having different frequencies....what i meant is can it read only 13.56 Mhz tags or can we use any tag frequency with this?

Hi,

The tag frequency has to be within the range of the reader's frequency, then only it will be able to detect the tag.

The HF (13.56 MHz) reader can only communicate with HF tags. However, there are HF tags which can work at 125 kHz or 900 MHz at the same time.
