Hello, I have a project using parallel port Interface with RF modules tx433 ,rx433 on a bread board. I am new to hardware. So, I wanna see if I got this right.
a- Two parallel ports cables , one from pc to breadboard transmitter side, then one from reciever side on bread board to pc.
b- There is encoder at transmitter side between parallel input and the tx433 and same with decoder on reciever side.

So am I correct ? and can I use ht12E/ht12D as encoder/decoder?

Just a note, I am going to use assembly language to be able to encrypt/decrypt data using an algorithm.

Also, would be serial port interface be easier than parallel port interface?

Thanx
