what is xy-mk-5v and how it can be interfaced with pic micro controller?

what is xy-mk-5v and how it can be interfaced with pic micro controller?

They are RF transmitter /receivers on the 433Mhz range that can be directly connected to the USART serial ports of a 5v Pic micro.

Just search this forum for the many posts on such devices typically called 433Mhz ASK modules.

so they don't require to interface with pic uC? and can they be used for room automation system?

Hi,

Yes they connect directly to the Pics Usart, nothing extra needed.

They have a limited range of depending on the building though easily cover a a large room.

They only convey data from one micro to another, nothing more, its what your Pic chips do with the data that make it an automated system.

Your need to check what frequency is legal in your area , those modules are available in 3 different frequencies.

What Pic chips do you intend to use and what programming language.

Hello @wp100, what does it mean that You need to check what frequency is legal in your area?? also i need to ask that xy-mk-5v can control multiple devices simultaneously or not? PIC uC i have to use is 16F877A and programming language is C and compiler is microC.....so is it compatible with it?
