I have been asked to develop a system that will have 10 transmitters all sending data to one receiver. The distance is < 5 meters.

The data from each transmitter will be limited to a few bytes every 100ms or so. Space is quite limited, the transmitter ideally would fit on a round board 1" in diameter and be powered from either a coin cell or similar small battery.

For proof of concept an OTS board of any dimension would be quite helpful, I could then reconfigure the circuit to the 1" board if everything works.

Any suggestions for the IC's or RF modules that would work for this application?

hi,
A useful source of info is the nrf20L01.pdf 2.4GHz transceiver.

I am developing a 5, Remote TXR's with a Base TXR for weather and security project.

If you decide that option, check out Amazon for some very inexpensive deals.
