Does anyone have this article published on the net by Mr. Arjan Strijker covering a Stand Alone EPROM Programmer?

The schematic and PCB for this request will be very welcome so I need a stand alone EPROM PROGRAMMER to copy 2716, 2764 and 27512 EPROMs.

eprom programmer

Hi there,

Very thank you for your tips.

All mentioned above begins with 2732 so need to programm 2716!

build eprom programmer

depending on what standalone means
They can be rather expensive.

But do a google for "willem programmer"
They even sell them on ebay if you dont want to build one.

2716 has the same Vpp as 2732.
The only difference is that you will need a jumper or dip switch on your PCB to re-direct Vpp from pin 20 (2732) to pin 21 (2716) and apply PGM pulses on 18.

2716 programmer

hello there .just joined this site.i got stuck in this problem .can u help me.
i got this problem on wikiversity (learning project).and i need to solve it ASAP.
if u solve this then plz mail me at jigsaw.18june@gmail.com or mail me at this site itself.
thanks

PROBLEM:

Design a microprocessor based EPROM programmer to program 2716.The EPROM can be programmed by applying 25V at VPP and 5V at OE pin. Initially all data of EPROM will be 1's and the user should make the bits zero selectively. The bit parallel data is applied to the data output pins (D0-D7). The address for the EPROM is provided through the address pins. To program the address of each location to be programmed should be stable for 55ms.When address and data are stable, a 50ms active high pulse is applied to CE input

Bingo600 is right. Standalone programmers might be more expensive than the regular programmers. But the thing is, the manufacturers have to generate 2 different algorithms for each supported device. The cheapest standalone programmer that i know is SuperPro 501S from Xeltek, which is for $995. But i assume, they have recently launched it and the supported device count is not as high as their other programmers...
