hi is there liability of using a RC reset rather then a dictated reset chip?
What method would you use?
What values would you use for the RC?

thanks

If the micro has a schmidt trigger input on the reset line, an external RC should work. If not, use a dedicated reset chip. Some micros may not like a (relatively) slow edge to the reset.
