Hello everyone,
I also need a research proposal in the field of IC design to apply for a Ph.D. position. Could anybody Help me regarding that? Please let me know if you can send some samples or tips...

I suggest you think about applications that interest you,
so that you're not spending a couple of years grinding
at something you aren't even enthused about.

Then pick one, and see if you can imagine something
that's holding back progress.

Now you have a topic where you can "sell" the value
of research. First to your advisor, then to some future
employer.

Research entails independent thought. Apply some.
