sony kv29c3

I was wondering about some codes.
My TV set is a SONY KV29c3d.
When you enter the service mode the following appeared at the top:"AE406
V8.57 AE-4 16/05/97". Below is a big list of some functions.
One of them is the "AI TDA 9170".

First of all what is the AI.
Under the "Init. TV" menu the AI is off. When I tern it to on at TT22
(Operating timer and error mem.display) an error "108h AI TDA 9170 *A"
appears.
Then when I tried to get into that menu (AI TDA 9170) I changed the
"Black offset enable" to off, the "user variable gamma" to 32 (it was
31) and the "Adaptive gamma" to 0 (it was 15).
The error still appears if the "AI" (under the "Init. TV") is on.
The next step was to bring back the original figures to the "AI TDA
9170", but it was impossible.
The question is why I'm not allowed to bring them back? How can I manage
to do so? And, Is this a problem?

May I ask something else as well?!!!
It's a long time now when you try to change a channel instead of the
black background which appeared during the change of the channel a dark
blue with very thin horizontal lines appears. I try to change the
brightness (not through the service mode) but the problem is still
there.
