I search for a free GUI interface free program that can read and write data to parallel port. My OS is windows 2000.
 

Maybe you can find something if you dig here:

Remember that for Windows 2000 you need a low-level driver in order to acces I/O ports directly. The link above has references to a number of such drivers.
