digital adjustable power supply

Simple way to control your power supply is shown it LM 317 datasheet. You can change transistor with integral DAC.

digital adjustable suplly

I saw the this example but it dosent say how to calculate the resistors or what transtore to use. a also simulated the circuit with multisim and it has a strange behavior.

digitaly adjustable power supply schematic

Is very easy to design a digitally controlled power supply if you use this integrated circuit: OPA549
You can obtain a free sample in www.ti.com (Texas Instruments site).
You can see in the datasheet of this IC an example of a power supply that have voltage and current controls with two DACs.
