I am trying to do some experiments with arduino clones.

I have searched ebay and found few options like:

1. **broken link removed**

2. **broken link removed**

3. **broken link removed**

and one with atmega 8

4. **broken link removed**

I basically work with Atmega 8 , I have few in stock. If I buy the first three where the MC connected via ic socket, can I replace it with atmega 8 and will it work ( I heard there is an ide for arduino - options available for atmega 8 in the ide ?) , or with any other avr ?

what you say about the 4th one.

Thanks for the reply.
I listed items on ebay.in becoz it will reach me faster. I have intentionally excluded smd versions because replacement of the MC is difficult. The question really is with the items listed in my last post, replacement with Atmega 8 is possible ?
