My pool's clorinator uses 2 of these S8055W scr's, which I cannot source locally. Any suggestions of an equivalent I can use ? I've tried ebay but can only find the S8055R. The clorinator only have 2 of these, 2 resistors, 4x1N4007's and a transformer. Everything tests ok except these scr's.

In addition to physical size and mounting format, can you determine their operating voltage, current rating, watt rating?

Those are the chief specs for an scr. Knowing them will help you narrow down your choice to a generic number. That should do (unless there is something special about the original scr's).
