I am using RC model to test delay in this circuit.

However the RC model attenuates the signal rather delaying it from volts to milivolts.. clik 2 c d simulation... its nt clear bt u cn c tht output is in mv and i/p is in V.

What can be the problem in this?

Is my RC model correct?

regard the components except R & C as simple buffer/repeater/driver or inverter!

Thank you!

no response?

Please clik on the above link to see the circuit!
I missed the power supply there.

Do I need to connect power supply to the top level
or to the schematic of inverter as well?

&

How do i add 1?

Please Help!

I figurd d problem out!

The voltage supply was missing!

Now if i give voltage supply to each module of this circuit .i.e. inverters & drivers .. CADENCE giv error

&

If i giv it on top level then
will i be able to debug the circuit?

I am checking the output of first inverter and it gives output in mV instead of inversion!

However the final output is similar to input but delayed as anticipated..

Please give comments!

I think it will make delay with only the continuous sinusoidal waves after establishing itself the steady state.

I am working with digital pulse and first inverter needs to invert the bit. but its not doing the same.

This is the basic law of physics. Delay is tied to loss in electrical system. Lossless system have no delay. It is not very obvious for many engineers, but it is so. If you are experienced engineer, try to think about delay as a function of the total differential sum of system's reactance slopes for any frequency or just to algebraic sum of them for the resonance frequency. If you are beginner go to the books and you will find the answer, but do not expect to get it soon.

Best regards

Thanks for your responses!

But please answer my question as well :(
