hai,
I am a beginner in renesas micrro controller. Any one who know about some programmer to r8c microcontroller please help me. And any tools to make program, like mplab for pic microcontroller. And keil for 8051. Please recomment me a good compiler.
 

If you are looking to buy a programmer Renesas sells a development kit programmer. I just saw one at Digikey.com but it was over $200.

I too am looking for an R8C/2x/26 or R8C/2x/27 do it yourself programmer to build but have not managed to find a circuit that does that. I thought it might be in Renesas documentation for the mcu but I did not see it.

Does anyone have a do it yourself programmer for R8C series mcu's link that they could post?

In r8c u can program directly through uart using max232 or usb cable
