Hi,

I think you built a winlirc ir port for your pc.Winlirc works like this :
User teachs ir remote codes to winlirc and winlirc sends codes to programs.
So you should teach each buttons of infrared remote to winlirc. It is easy to do, i configured all buttons of my TV remote to winlirc.
The best start is reading its readme, help files and manual.
Cheers,

Analyzer.

please help me configure the remote ...

Dear gsmsikar,

It is not hard to configure and teach code to him but you must use its manual. There is a very detailed manual and it tells step-by-step configuration.
Cheers.

Dear gsmsikar,

I recently built the same adapter.

I recommend using a software named "Girder" - https://www.girder.nl/.
(Note that versions prior to 3.3 don't have any limits).
It's easy to use and most powerfull.

For the adapter you've built you'll need to download the "Igor SFH56-device" plugin from the site and configure it to use DCD.

Regards,

Pazam

All you need is just a terminal which is connected to the net
