encoder decoder paire

hello friends,

I'm working on a remote control for a garage, could anybody show me any secure encoder/decoder pair to be used?

You can use Motorola mc145026(encoder) and mc145028 decoder.
Search with google.com and you may find some useful shematics.

Check out w*w*w.holtek.com.tw
They have a wide range of encoders/decoders for RF and IR systems.
 

Holtek pair are: HT12E / HT12D. Very easy to use. Very usefull.
