Relays shown on a schematic

On the schematic for a yaesu 857, it shows relays that don't look like the conventional type that are normally open.
These relays show two arrow heads pointing toward each other and both contacting the 'tongue' of the relay.
One arrow head is black and the other is white.
The coil is connected to B+ when activated and the other leg of the coil is at ground.
How do these relays work?
