Does anyone know the effects of nickel content in silver nickel relay contents. I know that it provides higher resistance to welding but what are the effects of higher and lower content? If there is a higher than normal content of nickel would this be bad?

Any information will be helpful

According to "Engineers Relay Handbook" published by the National Association of Relay Manufacturers, Silver Nickel (30% Nickel) is about 15% harder and 30% less conductive than pure silver. This reference has more than two pages of references for material selection for relay contacts.
