hi to all,
currently i am working in turbo codes for a project. can anyone help me to make clear idea on relation between information bits and total bits in turbo code and is no of tail bits is equal to no of shift register in turbo encoders ?
many thanks

gauri

I think tail bits are equal to the constraint length (if I remember !), what do you mean by the relation between total bits and info bits ?
