Hi, I am urgently in need of some help in understanding the following,

a) How does a PC charge a mobile phone when connected using the USB Data Cable?

b) What is the actual signal to and from the PC to the mobile phone?

c) Can the same be given through the Serial ports of an ordinary 8-bit microcontroller? If so, how do i decide the signal details?

PLEASE HELP!!!

I am on heavy fire :cry:
