HI Friends,

I am using AT89C2051 micro controller (My applications are very small that s why i have chosen this IC and still working with this IC).

Now i want to use Microchip PIC micro controller.
I am getting AT89C2051 for 30 rupees in the local market.

Can somebody suggest me a micro controller from PIC (20 pin, low cost).

Thanks and Regards,
Viswanath.

Lowest cost PIC is the 8-bit PIC16F720-I/P which sells from Microchip for $1.32 in single quantities. That's about 60 rupees.

I suggest pic 16f84a
check microchip website

I believe the PIC16F84A would cost three times as much and would only be an 18-pin device. I assume the 20-pins were needed for more I/O?

Hi All,

Thanks for your replies and valuable suggestions.
I would like use PIC16F720 as suggested by "grieblm" as it is coming for 60 indian rupees.

Thanks again.

Regards,
Viswanath.
