regarding matlab simulink and modelsim

hello everybody,

I'm having few guestion regarding matlab simulink with modelsim simulation

1) how to restart modelsim simulation from matlab workspace

2) how to take data workspace under certain condition

3) how to make something like handshake between matlab and modelsim through matlab simulink..
actually i want to take data from matlab workspace to modelsim component and based upon modelsim component result within certain condition the input taken from matlab workspace will change..
what controls me is that what i take from work space is controlled by time..

that's for now..

any help plzzzzz

1) Afaik, you cannot. You have to either reload modelsim or restart the simulation from the modelsim console.
2) please explain.
3) You just pass signals back and fourth and act on them accordingly, with enable or trigger blocks in simulink.

1) restarting through modelsim console doesn't work
also when writing restart commant in TCL tab doesn't work also
i thought there is a command that i can run within matlab command window..

2) data is taken from workspace according to time defined when creating the input workspace vector, but i want take it according to flag from modelsim output this flag is set according to certain condition which is not related to fixed time..

3) would you please give me more details

for (2) like freezing the coming values from work space till the output flag is set to 1
