[SOLVED] Regarding Lcd Hardware...

Hello Guys......I am having a problem,couldn't find the solution for that problem...


I had written lcd coding.....it was working in proteus software..but when i tried to saw the output in lcd hardware it didn't show the output ..showing only black boxes.....i don't know where the problem should be occurred...?

i am using mplabx ide software and pic 16f877a mic...

One row of solid black boxes or two?

If it is a single row, then most likely the LCD has been improperly initialized.

If it is two rows check your contrast adjustment.

What is the exact model of the physical LCD?

Post your code and schematic of the design.

Thanks for your reply.......two black boxes has been occurred..after changing the contrast lcd displayed the characters....
