Regarding Flash/Pipeline ADC Design

Hello Friends,
I am looking for job and simultaneously in the mean time I am planning to design and simulate Flash or Pipeline ADC circuits.
Please suggest me which is the best option for designing any of these circuits.

Also please suggest me study material which will be useful in designing that ADC.

I suggest you can start the behavior model design & simulate of ADC in MATLAB, then design & simulate behavior model in SPICE, finally do
circuit designs of those behavior models of SPICE.

Maybe you can read these papers as following:

‘Optimizing the stage resolution in pipelined, multistage, analog-to-digital converters for video-rate applications’
‘A 10-b 20-Msample/s analog-to-digital converter’
‘Indirect testing of digital-correction circuits in analog-to-digital converters with redundancy’

Well many refferences is given..looking at the design procedure:
1. Make the block diagram of pipeline ADC using Matlab(I suggested Simulink)
2. MAke the circuit schematic of transistor level, Simulte..Spice may be good for it
3. Make the floor planing according to the block diagram( if you know,well i Don't)
4. Draw the Layout, starting with sample and hold block upward..

Designing pipeline ADC is too much work for single person...If you done at the circuit level using spice that is good enough, but if u are capable of finising up to the LAyout well u can work with any company I belive.

This task is usually done in group.
