Hi all,
i am designing an BGR with an opamp. My opamp has an ICMR min of 1.2V.( 5V process with a Vth of 0.757V). I could reduce the ICMR to a minimum of only 1.02V. But the input voltage to both the inputs of the opamp is only 0.6V. Is there any means by which i can reduce the ICMR min to below 0.6 V in the same process?
I am using the following architecture........

Re: Opamp in a bandgap

I guess you are using a N-type input stage. If that's the case, use a P-type input stage. Another way could be to use p-type level shifters.

I think so, using p-type input stage can solve this question, and don`t add transistor.
