how to reduce leakage inductance

we have a full bridge converter with 35 v , 500 A output . we wanna reduce the leakage inductance of the transformer . Any practical advices are welcommed .

What do you mean by "leakage inductance"? You mean stray magnetic coupling?

how to reduce leakage inductance of transformer

You will have to maximize the coupling coefficient. One trick in small signal transformers is to put shunt capacitors on the primary and secondary to turn the leakage inductance to a low pass filter. This is called "building out" the transformer.

primary over secondary reduces leakage inductance

Not easily. To reduce leakage inductance one must put the primary winding as close as possible to the secondary one. This contradicts to the safety requirements however.
I think using a high-permittivity material would reduce the leakage inductance given the same primary and secondary inductances.
By the way,are we talking about a switch-mode welder?
