Find a part that uses the foot print and look at the data sheets from the manufacturer most times there is a recomended foot print

Re: Recommended footprints

Hi Here are some documents that I have don't think it is still on internet since I am not able to find a link for it anymore that is why I post it here.

Always check your component datasheets since sometimes the chips don't have the same footprint as your lib. ssop 8 is not always the same between different vendors.

regards,

Paul.

Re: Recommended footprints

Thanks PaulHolland & phonedrop,

indeed some times I have found the footprint in the datasheet.

You know some names of the manufacturers who put the recommended footprint in the datasheet?

For example: http://www.irf.com/package/pkdstdrec.html

Regards!
