Hello I would like to study deeply about wireless technology, my goal is to understand theory and practice about making my own electronic transmitter and receiver from electrons up ;)

Can you recommend books on subject ?

In which technology are today long and short distance wireless devices made ? CMOS integrated circuit or what ?

Depends. RF circuits are mostly made of GaAs and SiGe, other circuits are CMOS. High-power devices are often made of GaN. There are many technologies by many makers.
