but the design may vary when practically implemented

i think for a practical microstrip filter, we can use :
E.H. Fooks and R.A. Zakarevicius, “Microwave Engineering Using Microstrip Circuits".

or for a theoritical one :
Anatol I. Zverev, “Handbook of Filter Synthesis”.
