reasoon of peaks in square wave at high frequency

what is the reason of peaks that appears at the edge of square as shown in the diagram ....

At that frequency it could also be an unterminated coaxial cable or other transmission line mismatch in the hookup.

but if we zoom the peak ... we find some waves (ringing effect) ... wats the reason behind this ?
 

Its because the node you put probe is getting affected by capacitive and Inductive loading.There are various other factors, (power noise/ harmonics) but proper Calibration can reduce this.Using a small resistance in the series ( dampening the output voltage) can also reduce the spiks loaded on square wave.
 

The ringing is due to resonant oscillation from the stray inductance and capacitance in the circuit.

What is the circuit and where are you measuring the signal?
 

A poor ground, or an excessive loop area between ground
clip and probe, can add a lot of inductance. Inductance is
what makes for voltage overshoot (capacitance makes
current overshoot, but you're not looking at current).
