I have interfaced ac current and voltage sensors to a microcontroller and i have rms values of ac current and voltage available. Now i multiply those in a microcontroller to calculate power then will it be Real, reactive or apparent??
and how can i calculate other two?

when u multiply rms values it is actually the apparent power which is the vector-sum of real and reactive powers.
real power=Vrms*Irms*cos(theta)
reactive power=Vrms*Irms*sin(theta)
