Hello,

Do you have any experience how can I read data form coffee machine (zanusi spazio) and send it to computer.

I want daily to read statistic how many coffees has machine done through the day and store this statistic automatically in my computer.

Machine has an output. Communication protocol is BDV Executive MDB
But I did not find any practical info how to communicate

please post some more information on this protocol, is this proprietary ??

There are 2 Ways to read the data from Spazio:

1. To read out the RAM (yes RAM, foguring how not to loose data from it :D)

2. to attach the serial printer and to print out the report from the coffee machine (the printer connector is at the PCB located on front door, DB-9 type. Instead of the printer you may connect a laptop pc and capture the data

Last week just helped a friend of mine (vending machines operator) to attach the ICT Bill Validators to two Spazio's (with some problems solved).

HTH
