I wanted to know how can I transfer One Byte(8 bits) to Microcontroller e.g.16F84A or anyother using serial or USB port.

Thanks.

do you need ASM or C code for serial port imlementation ? or do you need code to implement a soft serial port ? or what ? more info brings a better answer.

I need a tutorial if available.if not then code would be the last choice.

go to the forum of ccsc, there is a code bin go check there, you might be able to find code there or atleast code that will push you in the general direction.

good luck
