:?:hi.. am doing project in atmel89c51...

My project concepts is.. temperature should mbe sensed when IR Txr and Rxr gets signal means... that temperature should be display using LCD.. so this is main concept i have in my project... please help me in coding... waiting for your reply..

What sensor are u using for temperature? I suppose u are using LM35 alond with 8 bit ADC 0808 and 89c51/2, along with IR sensor.

What is the use of IR sensor in that project, LM 35 is a temperature sensor and the output of that is analog, so given to ADC, the digital output is read by the controller, Keep polling for that port pin, so whenever there is change in the temperature, display on the LCD. Its very simple.

Am using AD590 TEMPERATURE SENSOR....
And about ADC080 ADC am using..... If IR detects any particles crossing means... temperature should start sensing the temperature which is contacted in Heat Iron... I think now you will understand...

Use Ds1820 sensor, which have inbuilt temp sensor and A/D converter. Also it works on 1 wire interface.
