Re: Relay Design for DC Source

I have a 28V 50A source. I wish to implement a relay to handle this source and have a switch for switching ON/OFF this relay. Any advice or sample circuit design for this implementation? I prefer a SMD mount, low profile, small footprint relay.

probably that series 62 can be used for your application. And I dont think whether ther will eb an SMD part available for that specification.

Re: Relay Design for DC Source

You would need some pretty big pins & wide & thick copper to carry that sort of current - I am not sure you will find a surface mount one.

I found this https://www.kgtechnologies.net/products/110.htm but it is AC not DC rated. Try searching for automotive relays - that is where you will find such currents. **broken link removed**
