Radiation pattern mesurement

Dear Sir

I want to measure the Far field radiation pattern of DRA. For this I have been taken two antennas one is transmitter and other is receiver. But I am facing problem with spectrum analyzer. I have been taken data from spectrum analyzer but i am unable to explain that data.

If you turn the DRA 360 degree at a fix point, note down the amplitude from spectrum analyzer at specific angle steps, you'll get the radiation pattern. What data on the spectrum analyser can you not explain?

I have been taken the data as you told.
but I am facing problems to explain the data because I got data in dBm with negative values and simulated results in dB. So i am unable to understand how compare both of them.

If you just want to compare the pattern, you can just normalise the plots.
