Questions about driving MOSFET for current-measuring application

As mentioned, the temperature will self-stabilize due to heat dissipation. This involves an only current dependent constant temperature above a certain wire length. The temperature will however change with air flow, also with horizontal versus vertical wire orientation.

If you expect considerable air flow variations, constant resistance control might be an option.

When I plot their data the most linear one was current vs temperature not resistance vs temperature not power vs temperature.

Do you mean if we ignore the effect of air flow, we can say that the average current(regardless of length) can be related to the temperature? I dont need much accuracy
