Question on op-amp

Can anyone think of a situation where the op-amp itself might serve to
implement a simulation of some system?

Re: Question on op-amp

I think it can if you are designing some kinds of high power supply.

Question on op-amp

well you must first obtain a diferential ecuation of the system
ans then you can implement it in a analog computer, with op-amps

Re: Question on op-amp

Operational amplifiers were first used for analog computers. The equation was reduced to integral form and the operational amplifiers configured as either gain elements or integrators were wired together. There is a book by Korn and Korn which is the classic about analog computers.
