I have an input sinusoidal signal going -1V to 1V. There is no common mode in it, how can i apply it to hysteresis comparator with needed hysteresis =50mV.
The common mode voltage of the sinusoidal signal you given is 0V. What is the reference voltage (another input besides your sinusoidal input signal) of your comparator? You can AC couple the sinusoidal input signal to your comparator and set the common mode voltage to the reference voltage level by a resister.
Let me put it in a more clear way. I have to compare two signals say both are sinusoidal (so other reference is also sinusoidal). One sinuosoidal has average value of 0.8V while other has average value of 1.2 volts. btw, it will be an on chip so, plz suggest something accordingly
Your question is not clear to me. Where is the problem to apply the two signals
directly to the two inputs (input and reference) of the comparator ?
What do you expect at the output of the comparator ? If you can draw a skecth, it helps.
