I cannot seem to find a wireless phone that does not have some kind of interference. My old phone is a 900 mega hz; no problem with it (but it's old and I need to get a new one). I've tried at least 5 new phones and we either cannot hear through the static or if we go too far from the base we can't get a signal. Is it possible that we could have other electronics in the house that would interfere with a cordless phone (tried 5.8 and 6.0 giga hz). Is the answer another 900 mega hz? We are baffled.
Tks.

the problem you have is well known
due to restrictions of radiation a phone can make from its antenna
older phones have more power
and are not encrypted audio {digital}
so if new phones
1} dont have the same signal
2} need complete packets of data and not audio

youll get issues from a week signal
there is two ways to help

one is to get a couple of high gain antennas and make a passive rf repeater
has no active part just adds extra signals over say a hill or two

or you can use an active repater
or you can add external antennas to the phone
from the socket on the bottom of most phones
with the right cable
