Hi

I need know, suppose i say now we are migrating from 3micron technology to 2 micron technology that means all the transistors used in the chip will be 2um or only the smallest transistor used in the chip will be 2um or can there be transistors of 2um and 3um in combination?

Re: Micron Technology

hi,

the min. size of the transistor lenth will be 2 micron but u can have larger size of the transistor on the substrate as well.

Regards,

Preet

Micron Technology

yes, it is the smallest transistor size
you can place larger transistor if you need

Re: Micron Technology

Is it necessary to mix different size transistors. So many factors need to be considered then rt?..
