Question about the working of asm files

Hello all,


I am new to this forum. Can anyone explain about the asm file?
I am using Fujitsu 96f348tsa controller.In the asm file 16 Mhz base clock frequency is selected.But there are some settings in my main function for getting the clock.This asm file is calling main function.whether it will amke any problems to the clock setting?

ASM file contains the Assembly Language.
this language is set of instructions.

there is always some changes in their coding languages for different Processors and Microcontrollers..

How to burn the ASM file to PIC?
Am using MPLAB & PICKIT 2 .
